
Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH – NCR) is set to undertake weekend reblocking activities on various road sections along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), Circumferential Road 5 (C5) and Quezon City starting 11 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 until 5 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2019.
DPWH – NCR Director Ador G. Canlas reported that the affected roads in EDSA includes the southbound direction from Magallanes-Baclaran Bus Stop to Magallanes-Alabang Bus Stop, outer lane; after Camp Crame Gate to Annapolis Street, outer lane; and from Bansalangin to North Avenue (U-Turn Slot), 5th lane from sidewalk; and at the northbound direction from Gate 4 to Gate 3, 2nd lane from center island; and after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
Road reblocking will also cover the road section in C5/Katipunan Avenue after C. P. Garcia Street, truck lane; at the eastbound directions of Quirino Highway, from Salvia Street to before Belfast Road, outer lane; and Elliptical Road, after Maharlika Street, 8th lane from outer sidewalk; at the westbound direction of General Luis Street, from Samote Street to SB Diversion Road; and at the northbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue from J. Pineda to Marvex Drive, 1st lane from center island.
Affected motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes to avoid expected build-up at the construction areas.
