Undersecretary Maria Catalina E. Cabral led the officials and employees of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the launching of the annual 18-day campaign to End-Violence Against Women which runs from November 25 to December 12, 2019, in support to the goal of the government to protect the rights of women and girls by upholding its commitment to address all forms of gender-based violence. DPWH has lined up numerous activities throughout the campaign such as self-defense training for women, art-making contest, and forum on anti-violence against women and children and sexual harassment.
