The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a four-storey building project that is seen to address the increase in number of elementary school enrollees in Caloocan City.
A P35-Million school building with twelve classrooms was built to accommodate more students of Silanganan Elementary School in Phase 3 Bagong Silang, Tatak Kubo Caloocan City.
DPWH NCR Director Ador G. Canlas said the new building under 2017 Basic Educational Facilities Fund (BEFF) BATCH 10, will directly benefit students who are currently enrolled in the school.
“This project follows the modified standard DPWH-DepEd School Buildings design which will surely contribute to the learning development of the youth in Bagong Silang and other neighboring barangays,” Canlas added.
