Monday, June 3, 2019

The construction of the Mondragon-Silvino Lobos Road (Phase 5) which started last August 31, 2018 has 27.51% work accomplishment as of April 30, 2019.

It is expected to be completed after 420 calendar days under the Monolithic Construction and Concrete Products Inc. and Solid M Construction (Joint Venture).

This P235M road project with a contract ID number 18II0053 is funded under the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process/Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (OPPAP/PAMANA) thru the General Appropriation Act (GAA) of CY 2018.

The project is under the direct supervision of Gil Herrera as Project Engineer with Bryan Fortes as Materials Engineer.

Construction of the Mondragon-Silvino Lobos road is significant since the town which is situated in the highlands remains to be disconnected from the other provincial road networks and growth centers.

Once completed it will be traversed and accessed by the people in neighbouring towns and barangays and hopefully play a more active role in economic growth.

It has a total length of 3,358.50 meters of PCCP and 81.40 meters construction of Suba Bridge that can help sustain sound economic fundamentals.
