This year marks a very significant milestone to DPWH as it celebrates its 121st anniversary, and continuously leading the nation to the “Build, Build, Build’ program of the present administration.
“Delivering the needs of the people is an accomplishment that will be remembered throughout the remaining years. And counting the significant projects that brought such high impact to the lives of the Filipino people matter most than the years we have served for this agency.” Regional Director Samson L. Hebra uttered during the celebration of the Department of Public Works and Highways 121st Anniversary, June 24, 2019.
DPWH Regional Office No. IV-A (DPWH-ROIV-A) staffs and employees flocked the covered court and gathered on this day with a program that would bring them all together, join in on the merriment as one family, with one agency vision and mission, practicing the values of teamwork, integrity, excellence, professionalism and public service.
The fun-filled celebration, in coordination with the DPWH Region IV-A Employees Association, was meant to showcase the office’s gratitude to all the staffs who worked together towards the achievement of the whole Department.
The Region celebrated the event with the opening of Sports Fest 2019 (basketball and volleyball), raffle draws, and a shower-of-blessing party. The event highlighted also the awards and recognition given to Director Samson L. Hebra: Plaque of Recognition from DPWH CO for having the Relevant to the Anniversary Theme Exhibit; Certificate of Appreciation from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Lucena Branch; and the Lingkod RDC Award from the Calabarzon Regional Development Council.
