
Department of Public Works and Highways-Quezon City I District Engineering Office recently turned over the much-awaited four (4)-storey school building, with twelve (12) classrooms to Doña Rosario Elementary School in Novaliches, Quezon City.
“Implemented under the 2017 Department of Education DepEd) – Basic Education Facilities Fund (BEFF) with a total cost of P35 Million, the construction of the school building will augment classroom shortage of the school,” NCR Director Ador G. Canlas said.
The new twelve classrooms can accommodate 40 students per room from the ratio of 80 students per classroom before the construction.
“For the safety and security of students and faculty members, the building now has steel grills from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor and is equipped with comfort rooms per floor, cistern and overhead tanks, emergency exit stairs and fire protection facilities,” Director Canlas added.
