Samar First District Engineering Office completes the construction of a 2-lane road at Barangay Binaliw, Calbayog City.
The road with a total length of 1 kilometer and 6 meters width is being enjoyed by more than 447 households living in Barangay Binaliw. A drainage of 1,320 meters is also integrated in the road project with an appropriation of P35-million from the General Appropriations Act of 2018.
Barangay Binaliw is located along the coast of Samar Sea thus, the road which was constructed within the barangay was extended into the shoreline where houses are still in existence and tourists can view the Isla Pawikan.
This is a big improvement in the said barangay since the existing one-way lane is very narrow.
