With the onset of the rainy season, members of the Department of Public Works & Highways (DPWH) – Leyte 4th Maintenance Team conducts clearing and cleaning of drainages all throughout the District.
Increased volume of debris that course through the drainages will lead to flooding, especially along national roads. As such, the maintenance team declogged and cleared the culvert situated along the highway in Brgy. Mahayag, Albuera, Leyte.
The team removed obstructions such as rocks and debris. This culvert will help control the flooding in the area, especially during this wet season.
Moreover, District Engineer Lino Francisco C. Gonzalez instructed the Leyte 4th Maintenance Team to be always alert and ready especially during this rainy season.
