A new access road project that will shorten the route between South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and Circumferential Road-6 (C6) is now being fast-tracked by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Set to complete on March 2020, DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the road dubbed Bambang ni Felix Road in Barangay Sta. Ana, Taguig City is now 71 percent completed based on a report from DPWH National Capital Region (NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas.
“Decongesting traffic in major roadways in the City of Taguig such as Cayetano Boulevard, the two (2) lane 688-meter road will also serve as an additional access from Pateros going to C-6 road which will then be linked to C-5 road,” said Secretary Villar.
The on-going construction of Bambang ni Felix Road is a portion of a whole program developed to link C-6 and C-5 road.
Construction works on the 41-million road project, funded under the 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA), were started July 2019.
