Director Melvin B. Navarro of the Department of Public Works and Highways Region 2 administered the formal oath-taking of promoted engineers from District Engineering Offices of Cagayan Valley Region to assume their new role and responsibilities in the Department.
Assistant Regional Director Alexander D. Nola and the Division Chiefs joined the ceremonies with Administrative Division Chief Nestor Q. Marallag in-charge of introducing appointees to District Engineers and Assistant District Engineers position.
The District Engineers who took their oath are Bernard P. Moreno of Isabela Fourth DEO, Marifel T. Andes of Quirino, Edith R. Babaran of Isabela Third DEO and Rommel E. Fabi of Batanes. The Assistant District Engineers are Edmund B. De Luna of Nueva Vizcaya First DEO, Lorna B. Asuten of Cagayan Third DEO and Isagani Caime
Director Navarro exhorted the employees to be dedicated in their duties and responsibilities and to always bear in mind their role as public servants. “Lagi ninyo sanang tatandaan na isa-puso at isa-isip ang paglilingkod at serbisyo sa publiko” he said.
