The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking activities at EDSA and other roads in Quezon City starting 11 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 until 5 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2020.
DPWH National Capital Region Ador G. Canlas said that repair works will cover portions of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) which include southbound direction from Guzent Construction Equipment Sales & Rental to Roosevelt Avenue, 4th lane from sidewalk; from approach of B.P. Tuazon Flyover to approach of A. Boni Serrano Flyover, 2nd lane from MRT line; and on northbound lane from Aurora Boulevard to New York St., 3rd lane from sidewalk.
Road repairs will also be implemented on the southbound lane of A. Bonifacio Avenue from Cloverleaf to 11th Avenue, 1st lane from sidewalk and westbound directions of General Luis St. from Samote Street to SB Diversion Road; and along Elliptical Road from Kalayaan Avenue to Maharlika Street, 7th lane from outer sidewalk.
DPWH has advised motorists to avoid the said areas and to instead use the possible alternate routes.
