The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will continue its road reblocking and repairs along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and other roads in Quezon City weekend.
According to DPWH National Capital Region (NCR) Director Ador G. Canlas, the repair and rehabilitation of three (3) road sections along EDSA and another three (3) other roads in Quezon City will start 11 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 until 5 a.m. Monday, February 24, 2020.
Road rehabilitation works in EDSA will cover the northbound direction after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk; and southbound direction from Guzent to Roosevelt Avenue, 3rd lane from sidewalk; and approach B of P. Tuazon Flyover to approach A of Boni Serrano Flyover, 3rd lane from MRT Line.
Reblocking activities will also be done at southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue from 11th Avenue to Sergeant Rivera Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk; eastbound direction of General Luis Street from Samote Street to SB Diversion Road; and Elliptical Road from Kalayaan Avenue to Maharlika Street, 4th lane from outer sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to use possible alternate routes due to traffic slowdown in the affected areas.
