Road widened to 4 lanes in Quirino Province

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has delivered the completion of its 1.76 kilometer road development along Cordon-Aurora Boundary Road, Quirino Province.

District Engineer Marifel T. Andres of DPWH Quirino District Engineering Office reported the improvement and widening of Cordon – Aurora Boundary Road (Isabela Boundary – Junction Dumabato) in the municipalities of Diffun and Cabarroguis.

The P48.9 million project involves the concrete paving of additional two (2) lanes and the construction of drainage system, slope protection structures and pavement markings.

“Additional lanes will enhance the delivery of basic goods and services and further promote the tourism destinations within the province of Quirino,” District Engineer Andres said.

The road network along Cordon – Aurora Boundary Road (Isabela Boundary – Junction Dumabato) is a National Secondary Road from junction Maharlika Highway, linking the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya, Isabela, Aurora and Quirino.
