The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will undertake concrete reblocking on seven (7) road sections in National Capital Region (NCR) starting 11 p.m. Friday March 6, 2020 until 5 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2020.
DPWH – NCR Director Ador G. Canlas said that repair works in Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) will cover the southbound direction from Guzent Inc. – Construction Equipment Sales & Rental to Bansalangin Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk and from Approach B of P. Tuazon Flyover to Approach A of Boni Serrano Flyover, 4th lane from MRT line; and northbound direction after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
Reblocking activities will also be done at the southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue from Sergeant Rivera Street to Bansalangin Street, 1st lane from sidewalk; westbound direction of General Luis Street near SB Diversion Road; Elliptical Road from corner Maharlika Street, 9th lane from outer sidewalk; and Congressional Avenue Extension from Tandang Sora Avenue, 1st lane from center island.
Motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes due to expected temporary traffic slowdown in affected areas.
