A newly-replaced San Juan Bridge also known as Pinaglabanan Bridge in the city of San Juan is now open to motorists.

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 led the inauguration of the new San Juan Bridge after its year-long closure that also gave way to the ongoing construction of Skyway Stage 3 Project.

“Motorists can once again utilize San Juan Bridge which is now fully-restored, and is constructed with 1.5-meter sidewalk on both sides to cater to pedestrians crossing San Juan River,” said Secretary Villar.

According to Secretary Villar, the newly-replaced and improved 46.85-meter Pinaglabanan Bridge directly connects Old Sta. Mesa Street in the city of Manila and N. Domingo Street in San Juan City and will serve about 8,000 to 10,000 motorists daily.
