Motorists are advised that the Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH – NCR) will undertake repair activities in Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and other road sections in Quezon City.
According to DPWH – NCR Director Ador G. Canlas, the road rehabilitation will be carried out from 11 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2020 until 5 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020.
Reblocking activities in EDSA will cover the southbound direction from Balintawak to Dario Bridge, 1st lane from center island; and from Approach B of P. Tuazon Flyover to Approach A of Boni Serrano Flyover, beside sidewalk; and at the northbound direction after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk.
Road works is also set along the southbound direction of A. Bonifacio Avenue from Sergeant Rivera Street to Bansalangin Street, 1st lane from sidewalk; westbound direction of General Luis Street near SB Diversion Road; Elliptical Road from Kalayaan Avenue to Maharlika Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk; and Congressional Avenue Extension near UP Professor Subdivision, 3rd lane from sidewalk; and northbound direction of Mindanao Avenue from Tandang Sora to D. Munoz Street, 2nd lane from sidewalk.
Due to expected temporary traffic slowdown in affected areas, motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes.
