DPWH Regional Office IV-A Declares Projects on 24/7 Schedule

In compliance with President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s directive regarding the 24/7 monitoring of high-impact infrastructure projects, the Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office IV-A has declared its own list, resulting to nine (9) major projects.

These are projects along 1)Sumulong Highway, 2)Quirino Highway km0253+000-K0256+207, 3)Quirino Highway km0277+000-km0279+900, 4)Manila-Batangas Road, 5)Marikina-Victoria Valley in Antipolo, Rizal, 6)Daang Maharlika (Candelaria Section), 7)Sambat Flyover along Tanauan-Talisay-Tagaytay Road, 8)Coastal Road as part of the Taal Lake Circumferential Road along municipalities of San Nicolas-Sta. Teresita-Alitagtag, Batangas, and 9)Calamba-Sta.Cruz-Famy Junction Road.

According to a report from Central Office, DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar said that he wanted to fast-track infrastructure development under the President’s administration. And with the new directive on implementation of infrastructure projects, Secretary Villar’s vision is to make the communities liveable and safe through quality projects that are accessible and on-schedule.

DPWH Region IV-A Director Samson L. Hebra agreed with the vision and reported along with the list that the Region is committed to work 24/7 on its major and critical infrastructure projects.
