The motoring public in Central Mindanao is advised that the approach road to Diwatex Bridge along Paco-Roxas-Arakan Valley Road in Barangay Salasang, Arakan, Cotabato is temporarily one (1) lane passable due to scoured embankment materials with settlement due to heavy rain.
According to a report submitted to the Department of Public Works and Highways - Bureau of Maintenance (DPWH-BOM) by DPWH Regional Office 12, the temporary lane closure was implemented after a 20-meter portion of the road at K1684+912 - K1684+932 Salasang Section collapsed.
DPWH Regional Office 12 has installed warning signs and deployed maintenance crew to manage traffic within the vicinity while affected section is being repaired.
All other national roads in Soccsksargen are passable to all types of vehicles.
