“This tourism project will open opportunities to the private and public sector to invest in livelihood projects thereby creating jobs that are contributory to local economic growth,” District Engineer Andes added.

District Engineer Andes added that once completed, paved road will also provide farmers in the area with a smoother, safer road, hence faster and more convenient transport of their produce.

The project which received an allocation beginning 2018 is implemented under the six-year TRIP or until 2023.
