In line with the school opening in June, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Quezon IV District Engineering Office distributed school supplies to students of Villa Hermosa Elementary School in Lopez, Quezon on May 21.
The school supplies distributed to 100 students from Grades 1-3 consisted of a backpack, notebooks, pencils, eraser, ruler and scissor. These were personally given to the students who also came with their parents or guardians.
Lead by OIC-District Engineer Rody A. Angulo, the activity was part of DPWH’s outreach program to help the community.
