
DPWH Albay 1st District Engineering Office has completed the installation, application and construction of road safety devices at KO577+500 to KO579+000 and KO580+000 to KO581+000 (with exceptions) of DM Jct. Legazpi-Sto.Domingo- Tabaco-Tiwi-Camarines Sur Bdry. Road, Tiwi, Albay
Costing P6.360 Milliion, the project which was started on December 1, 2014 was completed on January 10, 2015.
Scope of work includes the installation of guardrails and pavement markings for the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
Easier Access to Caramoan
The Department of Public Works and Highways Region V humbly boasts the completion of the construction and improvement project of the Access Road leading to Caramoan-Paniman Road leading Caramoan Island.
Regarded as the heart of Caramoan - tourism in the island is considered to be fastly developing especially because of the pristine & untouched white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, lush marine life and limestone cliffs ideal for rock climbing in the island, as testified by the various media attention – both local and international, Caramoan received in the recent years.
The road access project is one of the DPWH-DOT Convergence Projects located at Sta. 0+785 – Sta. 2+100 with an allocation of Forty Eight Million Pesos (Php 48,000,000.00).
