
In observance of All Saints Day, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) provided motorists and pedestrians with prompt and reliable assistance ensuring the safety and smooth travel of the public.
DPWH and its District Engineering Offices (DEOs) through its “Lakbay Alalay” Program deployed respective teams to man the Motorist Assistance Centers assigned in designated areas and road sections visible along national roads and highways particularly in areas leading to cemeteries, churches and other areas commonly visited. These “Lakbay Alalay” Stations had 24 hours service ready to attend to clients’ concerns and respond to the needs of the travelling public.
The “Lakbay Alalay” Motorist Assistance Centers began its operations last October 28, Friday at 5:00PM until November 2, Wednesday at 12:00NN. The team in each district also submitted reports to the Regional Office for documentation purposes.

- Jct. Dologon – Busco – Quezon Section
- Puntian – Sinuda Section
- Linamon – Zamboanga Road
- Malabang – Dobleston –Tukuran Road
- Camiguin Area
The DPWH-X Public Affairs and Information Office (PAIO) were also on standby and responsive during the observance of All Saints Day in coordination with the Maintenance Division.
