The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) once again responded to a report from a concerned citizen this time concerning a damaged steel plate at the steel grating that has caused an accident along Quezon Boulevard Underpass going to Quiapo, Manila.
Coursed through the DPWH Facebook Page, the report disclosed that the steel plate damaged and displaced by heavy trucks passing along the underpass resulted to a motorcycle falling on a road hole.
Through prompt coordination, the DPWH was able to repair the steel plate by welding it back to its original position.
“We are once again thanking our partners - the concerned citizens who report road concerns. Reports like these matters to guarantee safety of our everyday road users,” said Secretary Mark A. Villar.
