DPWH Undertakes Road Preventive Works along portion of E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will begin its weeklong road preventive works along E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City between 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, April 12, 2021 up to Sunday, April 18, 2021.

In his report to Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH National Capital Region Director Eric A. Ayapana said that upon clearance from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the DPWH Quezon City 2nd District Engineering Office will undertake overnight rotomilling followed with asphalt overlay of road lanes along E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue starting from Quezon City Sports Club up to St. Luke's Medical Center.

Due to expected traffic build-up, motorists are advised to take possible alternate route while road maintenance works is on-going.

A new curfew hours from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday, April 12 is in effect in Metro Manila with the shift to modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
