
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) National Capital Region will undertake road reblocking and repair along three (3) portions of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) this weekend starting at 11:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2021.
DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar said that affected EDSA sections include the north bound portion fronting Landers, first lane from sidewalk; north bound from Quezon Avenue to fronting Landmark, first lane from bike lane; and its southbound section, opposite of Trinoma Mall, second lane from sidewalk.
Other than EDSA, DPWH will also temporarily-close for road repair the second lane from sidewalk of C-5 Road before Magsaysay Avenue; first lane from center island of Agham Road fronting Office of the Ombudsman; and first lane from sidewalk of West Avenue from Times Street to Quezon Avenue.
DPWH-NCR will be using one-day curing concrete mix to reopen the affected road lanes by 5:00 AM Monday, May 3, 2021.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel and take possible alternative routes.
