The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will resume its reblocking and repair works on Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C5).
Repair works on section of two (2) major thoroughfares in Metro Manila start 11 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 until 5 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2021.
DPWH-National Capital Region (NCR) Director Eric A. Ayapana reported that the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has given clearance to conduct road maintenance activities along EDSA, Caloocan City from K0010+(-942)-K0010+666.
Works along C-5 Road, Quezon City will cover the southbound direction from Katipunan-B, Serrano Tunnel, 3rd lane from the sidewalk; and at the northbound direction before Rajah Matanda, 3rd lane from the sidewalk.
Due to expected traffic build-up on affected areas, motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes.
