
As of 6:00 pm Sunday, July 25, 2021, four (4) national road sections are still closed to vehicular traffic due to damage and soil/rock slide while 13 roads are still not passable to light vehicles due to flooding brought by inclement weather.
Citing a report from the Department of Public Works and Highways – Bureau of Maintenance, Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the Baguio-Bontoc Road K0362+600, Busa Bridge, Sabangan, Mt. Province; Abra - Kalinga Road, K0489+900, Gacab, Malibcong, Abra; Junction Layac Balanga Mariveles Port Road Zigzag Section K0160+000 in Bataan; and Mindoro West Coastal Road, K0353+900, Pag-asa Section, in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro remain impassable to all types of vehicles.
A total of 10 Metro Manila roads are currently flooded and not passable to light vehicles.
As reported by the DPWH Quezon City 1stDistrict Engineering Office (DEO), the Domingo Avenue at corner Calamba in Quezon City is hardly-passable with flood level reaching 40-50 centimeters.
Flooded roads under the monitoring of DPWH Malabon-Navotas DEO are: 1) C. Arellano St. from Pasez St. to Sacritia St.; 2) M.H. del Pilar St. from Yanga St. to San Vicente Village, at Corner E. Rodriguez St., from Buenaventura St. - Arkong Bato, and Yakal St. to Tinajeros; 3) Don Basilio Bautista St. from Gen Luna St. to Dampalit Bridge; 4) Sanciangco St. from Francisco Compund to P. Aquino St.; 5) Gen Luna St. from P. Aquino St. to Don Basilio Bautista St.; 6) Leono St.; 7) P. Aquino Ave. from Malabon City Hall to Malabon Bridge; 8) M. Naval St. from City Hall to Gabriel St. and from Tawiran Kwatro to Tawiran Singko; and 9) Gov. A. Pascual Ave. from A. Liongson St. to Policarpio St. Flood level along these roads has reached 25 centimeters.
Other roads that are hardly-passable due to flooding were identified along Apalit Macabebe Masantol Road, K0057+700-K0063+400 at Intermittent Sections and Sto Tomas - Minalin Road (Minalin- Macabebe Section), K0072+500-k0073+300 in Pampanga; and the Bigaa Plaridel via Bulacan & Malolos (Panginay Sect.) K0030+500-K0032+000 in Bulacan.
