The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will resume its weekend road repair activities in Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) this weekend starting 11 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2021.
According to DPWH – NCR Director Eric A. Ayapana, the road rehabilitation works will be carried out along two (2) sections of EDSA covering the southbound direction from Benin Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk in Caloocan City; and the northbound direction from before Ayala Tunnel, 2nd lane from sidewalk in Makati City.
The repair works was given clearance by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the affected road sections will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021.
Due to expected temporary traffic slowdown in affected areas, motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes.
