1 road still closed, 5 with limited access as of Monday morning

Motorists are advised that one (1) road section in Ternate, Cavite remain closed to traffic while five (5) roads Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Batangas, and Leyte are still accessible to limited vehicles due to landslides, flooding, and damaged bridge and seawall due to Typhoons Kiko and Jolina.

As of 6:00 am Monday, September 13, 2021, the Ternate Nasugbu Road K0069+750 in Brgy. Sapang II, Ternate, Cavite remain impassable to all types of vehicles due to landslides. In the meantime, the public may take Tagaytay Batangas via Tuy Road as an alternative route.

The Nueva Ecija - Aurora Road, K0211+786, Diteki River Detour Road is still flooded and passable to only light vehicles; while Jct. Pinagpanaan-Rizal Pantabangan Road, Bicos Bridge I, K0142+179, Brgy. Bicos, Rizal, Nueva Ecija is one-lane passable due to damaged bridge deck and Sto. Tomas - Minalin Road K0072+500 - K0073+300 (Minalin - Macabebe Section) Telacsan, Macabebe, Pampanga is also flooded and only open to heavy vehicles.

Both Batangas-Tabangao-Lobo Road, Sta. 138+150 to 145+400 and Jaro-Dagami-Burauen- Lapaz Road, Marabong Bridge, Brgy. Moging, Burauen, Leyte are also passable to only light vehicles due to damaged seawall with road slip and scoured slope protection at bridge abutment.

The Department of Public Works and Highways Quick Response Teams are conducting clearing operation to reopen affected sections as soon as possible.
