The Department of Public Works and Highways announces the resumption of reblocking and repairs on various roads in Metro Manila starting at 11PM Friday, April 29, 2022.
The road repair works will cover areas on both the northbound and southbound directions of EDSA P. Tuazon Aurora Boulevard, Quezon City, 1st lane from sidewalk (intermittent section) and Aurora Boulevard to Arayat, 1st lane from sidewalk.
Northbound direction of EDSA Guadalupe Makati City from EDSA Guadalupe footbridge going to EDSA Guadalupe Cloverleaf (near Guadalupe MRT Station), innermost lane (bus way); and southbound direction of EDSA Caloocan City before Biglang Awa Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk will be also closed.
Road reblocking activities will also be undertaken on the following roads in Quezon City: along EDSA Southbound Service Road corner 11th Jamboree to Timog Avenue intersection (opposite Mapagmahal Street to Kamuning Road, 2nd block from sidewalk; along West Avenue between Bulletin Street and Times Street, 1st lane from sidewalk; along A. Bonifacio corner C-3; C.P. Garcia Avenue bound to Katipunan Avenue (C-5) fronting Institute of Mathematics, 1st block from sidewalk; and Mindanao Avenue Northbound from Shell Gas Station to Road 20, 2nd lane/ truck lane.
Affected areas in C-5 include C-5 northbound, 3rd lane before Mckinley Road and C-5 Southbound, along 2nd lane near elevated U-turn in Makati City; and along Pasig Boulevard Southbound, in front of North American Automotive and along Doña Julia Vargas Westbound, in front of Banco de Oro in Pasig City.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic slowdowns and to take possible alternate routes until road sections are reopened to traffic by 5AM on Monday, May 2, 2022.
