The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is fast-tracking the completion of new and modernized infrastructure projects inside the headquarters of the Philippine National Police (PNP) at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
The ₱204-million TIKAS or “Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad” (TIKAS) Projects, a convergence program of the agency and the Department of National Defense (DND), covers the construction of two (2) five-storey Quarters Building and Dormitory Building and the two-storey Ballistic Testing Facility.
DPWH National Capital Region Director Nomer Abel P. Canlas conducted a recent site inspection on the projects, ensuring that the housing and support facilities for the law-enforcing body of the country are nothing but the best.
“We always aim to provide state-of-the-art facility requirements that are vital to their operations, as well as safe, comfortable living quarters to our police officers and their families while inside the Camp,” said Director Canlas.
The three (3) TIKAS building projects are targeted to be completed within the year.
