The Northern Samar First District Engineering Office (NSFDEO) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a total of 64 infrastructure projects as of October.
Headed by Officer-in-Charge District Engineer Mario G. Soriano, the district office targets a total of 101 infrastructure projects for 2016.
The remaining 34 projects are still ongoing while 3 projects are not yet started and waiting for approval of the Program of Work (POW) and Plans at the regional office.
By closely monitoring and personally inspecting the projects, Soriano ensures that project engineers fast track the implementation of projects and contractors address the concerns over the delays.
He is optimistic that that the ongoing projects will be completed before the year ends.
