Department of Public Works and Highways Northern Samar 2nd District Engineering Office (DPWH NSSDEO) and Department of Education (DepEd) Northern Samar division office held a joint inspection on school buildings in the second district of the province.
Newly constructed school buildings located at Mapanas Agro-Industrial High School in the municipality of Mapanas and Cagamutan National High School in Gamay, both in the Pacific Area of Northern Samar were examined by the NSSDEO Inspectorate Team , representatives from the Physical Facilities and Schools Engineering Division (PFSED), and representatives from other relevant stakeholder.
The completed projects were implemented under the DepEd Basic Education Facilities Fund (DepEd-BEFF) under Cluster BEF-2016.
This is in line with the government’s commitment to quality education by ensuring that the deficit in educational facilities brought by the full implementation of the K to 12 program will be addressed.
