Personnel of DPWH-Nueva Vizcaya 2nd (NVSDEO ) District Engineering Office headed by District Engineer RONALD P. REYES celebrated the 118th Anniversary of the agency with the theme “Serbisyo Tungo Sa Patuloy Na Pagbabago” at Malasin, Dupax del Norte Nueva Vizcaya simultaneously with the national celebration of the agency held at the Head Office in Manila.
As part of the celebration, NVSDEO Staff and Personnel joined forces to come up with some worthwhile activities for the said undertaking including a “Fun Run” from Lamo Bridge along DM – Jct. Lamo-Malasin Road to DPWH NVSDEO.
Flag raising ceremony was also conducted, followed by a short program. Assistant District Engineer Glenn C. Miguel delivered a simple but very meaningful message regarding the anniversary theme stressing the importance of public service as one of our core values and commitment to the Filipino people.
A “Tree Planting” activity was also undertaken along the premises of NVSDEO Compound. DE Reyes, ADE Miguel was joined by HRAS Chief Grace V. Sanchez, FMS Chief Jonnalyn Q. Barasi, Maintenance Chief Perfecto E. Urban, JR., Construction Chief Prudencio T. Angeles and Planning and Design Chief Simon U. Quijano, Jr. in the planting of around one hundred eighty (180) mahogany seedlings. To end the celebration, everyone posed for a group picture with the flying of Helium Balloons marked with DPWH 118TH Anniversary into the sky.
DE Reyes acknowledged the staff and personnel of NVSDEO for their usual support and cooperation which resulted to the success of the said undertaking, with the hope that in every event, camaraderie between each and every employee will always be strengthened and developed because in the department we are FAMILY, we share one goal, mission and vision, and that is to continue delivering quality service to the public.
