The Department of Public Works and Highways Region 4A and the Batangas Third District Engineering Office are now ISO 9001:2008-certified. In a ceremony held in June, Secretary Rogelio L, Singson handed over the certification of each office to DPWH 4A Regional Director Samson L. Hebra and Batangas Third District Engineering Office OIC-District Engineer Prescila R. Ramos the certification, along with 32 other offices that were recently certified.
