Major agricultural product in this area is coconut. Although Carmen is the mango capital of Agusan del Norte province, coconut is also one of the major crops produced by the province. The municipality of Carmen contributed 6,936.77 MT to the total production of the province which is 75,184.34 MT. Through this newly completed Farm-to-Market Road, coconut planters will be more encouraged to increase their production since they already have an easy access of concrete road to transport their products from any points of Agusan del Norte and even to other neighboring provinces.
