Widened Bridge Improves Connectivity in Brooke’s Point, Palawan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently completed the widening and improvement of Amas Bridge along Puerto Princesa South Road, Brooke’s Point, Palawan, enhancing connectivity, and road safety for all residents, commuters, and travelers in the area.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office IV-B Director Gerald A. Pacanan mentioned that the widened bridge now facilitates the growing vehicular traffic, promoting smoother and faster travel time in Brooke’s Point, Palawan to its neighboring towns and municipalities.

DPWH Improves Pagadian – Zamboanga Road

The preventive road maintenance works completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) along Pagadian – Zamboanga City Road in Tigbao, Zamboanga Del Sur enhanced driving comfort and increased safety for motorists.

According to DPWH Regional Office 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia, the road section in Barangay Nilo used to have potholes, cracks, and uneven pavement, posing dangers to motorists traversing the area.

Bored Piling Works Signal Progress in Samal Island - Davao City Connector Project

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started the civil works construction of deep foundations for the land and marine viaducts of the 4.07-kilometer Samal Island - Davao City Connector (SIDC) Project.

DPWH Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain, in his report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, said that the project is proceeding the construction phase both in Davao and Samal side with the commencement of bored piling activities crucial for ensuring the stability and integrity of the bridge structure.
