The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed preventive maintenance works on the crucial sections of the Davao-Cotabato Road, a national road connecting Davao and Soccsksargen regions.

DPWH Completes 2 Road Devt Projects in Albay

Motorists and farmers in the first and third district of Albay Province now reap the benefits of two (2) recently completed road improvement projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

DPWH Regional Office 5 Director Virgilio C. Eduarte, in a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said that one (1) of the completed projects is a farm-to-market road which now facilitates better access to and from the ricefields of Barangay Tagpo, Ligao City.

Tolentino said that the newly constructed flood mitigation structure – including a 312.40-meter double-berm system, a 10-meter-wide dike, and reinforced concrete slope protection, has significantly reduced the risk of flooding in the area.
