The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a new flood control structure along the Peñaranda River to safeguard nearby residential and agricultural communities in San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija.

Citing a report from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said that a newly-built 378-lineal-meter river wall now ensures the safety of residents in Barangay San Roque.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a new farm-to-market road (FMR) in the town of Enrile, Cagayan, providing local farmers ease of transport and access to major trading centers in the Cagayan Valley Region.

Secretary Manuel M. DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing a report from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, said that the DPWH Bataan Second District Engineering Office (DEO) built along the Bagac side of the Paysawan River a slope protection structure in the amount of P49 million funded under the 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA).

Improved mobility and more convenient transport are expected in the Municipality of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur with the improvement of the Mansanas-Upper Dimorok-Lower Dimorok Road.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia reported that the newly-paved 1.68-kilometer road is anticipated to reduce travel time to and from the town proper by 10 minutes, aiding faster transport of goods and farm produce to the market.
