DPWH Paves 3.14-KM Roads to Enhance Mobility in Tarlac City

The Department of Public Works and (DPWH) has recently completed the construction of two (2) road connectivity projects for the rural communities in Tarlac City, providing safer and more convenient travel for motorists and market access for farmers.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing reports from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, identified the completed projects as the concreting of a 1.79-kilometer section of a local road in Barangay San Juan De Mata and the improvement of a 1.35-kilometer local road in Barangay Care.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a new revetment structure intended to protect residents and communities of Zamboanga City from river overflow during heavy rains.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manual M. Bonoan and Undersecretary Eugenio R. Pipo, Jr., DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia said the newly-built structures now ensure the safety of around 17,000 locals at Sitio Latap in Barangay Limpapa and Sitio Miluao, Barangay Patalon.

P96-M Flood Control Wall Completed in Zamboanga City

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a new revetment structure intended to protect residents and communities of Zamboanga City from river overflow during heavy rains.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manual M. Bonoan and Undersecretary Eugenio R. Pipo, Jr., DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia said the newly-built structures now ensure the safety of around 17,000 locals at Sitio Latap in Barangay Limpapa and Sitio Miluao, Barangay Patalon.

Anti-Rockfall Barriers to Ensure Road Safety in Central Iloilo Highlands

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is undertaking two (2) slope protection projects to provide a safer and more comfortable travel to upland barangays in the towns of Leon and Alimodian, Iloilo.

With a total amount of P177.79 million, both projects involve the construction of 100-meter high tensile wire mesh along hazard-prone areas of Junction Bancal-Leon-Antique Road in Leon.
