DPWH paves new road leading to tourism hotspot in Capiz

To allow better mobility for locals and tourists exploring Region VI, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently completed a new access road leading to an emerging tourist destination in Jamindan, Capiz.

DPWH Capiz 2nd District Engineering Office, together with the Department of Tourism, undertook the concrete paving of the 1.34-kilometer local road leading to Malinamon Falls in Barangay Jaena Norte.

To allow better mobility for locals and tourists exploring Region VI, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently completed a new access road leading to an emerging tourist destination in Jamindan, Capiz.

DPWH Capiz 2nd District Engineering Office, together with the Department of Tourism, undertook the concrete paving of the 1.34-kilometer local road leading to Malinamon Falls in Barangay Jaena Norte.

DPWH installs rain water collection facility in Isabela schools

In its effort to encourage water conservation and reuse, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has installed 16 Rain Water Collection System (RWCS) at different public schools in Isabela Province.

According to DPWH Isabela Third District Engineer Editha Barbaran, a total of P2.994 million was allotted for the installation of the rainwater collection units distributed to various elementary and secondary high schools in the municipality of San Mateo, Alicia, Angadanan, and Cauayan City.

2 road improvement projects completed in Negros Oriental

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed two (2) road improvement and preservation projects to allow better mobility for both locals and tourists in Negros Oriental.

The newly-completed projects include the concreting of the Looc Bypass Road in Dumaguete City, costing P29.98 million, and asphalt overlay of 2.74 km Dumaguete Junction – Bais to Kabankalan Section of Dumaguete North Road in Bais City, costing P43.70 million.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed two (2) road improvement and preservation projects to allow better mobility for both locals and tourists in Negros Oriental.

The newly-completed projects include the concreting of the Looc Bypass Road in Dumaguete City, costing P29.98 million, and asphalt overlay of 2.74 km Dumaguete Junction – Bais to Kabankalan Section of Dumaguete North Road in Bais City, costing P43.70 million.
