The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) held the 3rd Steering Committee Meeting for the Road Network Development Project in Conflict-Affected Areas in Mindanao (RNDP-CAAM), denoting its current progress, milestones, and challenges ensuring alignment, transparency, and mutual understanding with all relevant stakeholders.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a 3.95-kilometer section of an ongoing access road that will provide a fast, convenient, affordable, and scenic access to the tourist destinations in the southern part of Sorsogon Province.
In a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office 5 Director Virgilio C. Eduarte cited the recent completion of two (2) road projects in the town of Bulan that form part of a tourism road project dubbed Bulan-Matnog-Sta. Magdalena-Bulusan Road.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has upgraded and reconstructed the damaged section along Pagadian-Zamboanga City Road in the municipality of Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur.
In her report, DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia said that the project involved the repair of 3.8 kilometers of two (2) middle lanes of an existing four (4)-lane road traversing Barangay Camanga.
“This project aims to enhance road safety and facilitate smoother travel for residents and commuters, benefitting about 40,000 locals in the area,” said Director Dia.
