P50-M Flood Mitigation Project Completed in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed its river wall project along the Magat River in Barangay Bonfal Proper, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

Built by the DPWH Nueva Vizcaya First District Engineering Office, the project features a 512-linear meter concrete structure composed of anchorage, embankment, mattresses, gabions, and spur dikes, which serves as a barrier against the overflow of Magat River.

DPWH Completes P34 M Road Rehab in Oriental Mindoro

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed its rehabilitation and improvement of Calapan South Road Jct. – Minas Road in the Municipality of Victoria, Oriental Mindoro.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Region IV-B Director Gerald Pacanan said that the project involves the replacement of the damaged paved roads stretching 1.4 kilometers, construction of road shoulders on both sides, and the application of reflectorized thermoplastic pavement markings for enhanced safety.

A 4-kilometer bypass road project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has provided overall travel improvement for locals and tourists between the two (2) municipalities of Damulog and Kadingilan in the province of Bukidnon.

Citing a report submitted by Region 10 Director Zenaida T. Tan, DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said that the newly-completed bypass road has solved the transportation woes in the rural and secluded areas of Barangay Maican in Damulog and Barangay Balaoro in Kadingilan, Bukidnon.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the concrete paving of roads that are now benefiting farming communities in the towns of Hermosa and Samal, Bataan.

DPWH District Engineer Erlindo Flores, in his report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, identified the completed project as the newly-paved 747-meter road in Sitio Lambang in Barangay Mabiga, Hermosa, Bataan.

With an allocation of P10 million, the concrete road with drainage component has reduced the travel time to the town proper of Hermosa.

Various Infra Completed in Pangasinan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a total of six (6) infrastructure projects focused on protecting the community and fostering social growth in the Province of Pangasinan.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Region I Director Ronnel Tan said the completed projects implemented by the DPWH Pangasinan 3rd District Engineering Office include a flood control structure, road improvement and public buildings in the towns of Natividad Pozzorubio, Urdaneta City, and San Nicolas.
