Effective today, April 7, 2014, K072±500 [K071±500] along R. Diokno Highway (formerly Tagaytay Junction-Lemery Road) in Barangay Tamayo, Calaca, Batangas City is passable to light vehicles only. Cargo trucks, heavy equipment and other vehicles exceeding 10 tons are advised to take Tagaytay-Nasugbu and Palico-Batangas Roads as alternate/detour routes.
Restriction of heavy vehicles along R. Diokno Highway is implemented to prevent further damage of the road or its total closure due to observed vertical settlement on approximately fifteen (15) linear meters section.
Batangas 1st District Engineering Office have installed sign boards on entry and exit points of R.Diokno Highway.
