DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said that the tree-planting initiative of the DPWH Social Affairs Committee headed by Undersecretary Marichu A. Palafox marks another fruitful year for the agency, reaffirming the Department’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable nation building.

In his report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel M. Tan, said that the 3.10-kilometer FMR project involves the construction of drainage systems, slope protection works, and the installation of 15 solar-powered LED streetlights to improve road safety during nighttime.
