DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan said that the tree-planting initiative of the DPWH Social Affairs Committee headed by Undersecretary Marichu A. Palafox marks another fruitful year for the agency, reaffirming the Department’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable nation building.

In his report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH CAR Director Khadaffy D. Tanggol said that the project included the construction of concrete revetments, gabion spur dikes, and sheet piles as part of a comprehensive flood control strategy.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, has been officially recognized as one (1) of the top government agencies to receive a Bronze Award from the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM).

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently completed the first phase of a long-span bridge project to improve connectivity in the town of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary Eugenio R. Pipo, Jr., DPWH Regional Office I Director Ronnel M. Tan said that the construction of the 245.9-meter Ambalayat Bridge crossing Amburayan River aims to connect Barangay Ambalayat with Barangay Pallogan.
