The dream of transforming the 40-year old Wildlife Nature Center into a world-class eco-tourism site and a learning center for biodiversity conservation was finally put into action. In conjunction with DENR’s mandate to pave the way for Filipinos to live a life that is in harmony with the rhythm of nature, QCFDEO, DPWH-NCR has started implementing the construction of an ecotourism building at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, Quezon City.
According to its Project Engineer Jasmin Edica, it will serve as a tourist information center and will house the office of the PASu (Protected Area Superintendent). As of January 31, 2014, it has an accomplishment of (+)10% and is aiming to be completed this coming March.
