Motorists and the general public are pre-warned of the expected traffic build-up in some sections of the major thoroughfares in Metro Manila as the Department of Public Works and Highways-National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) takes advantage of the long weekend to continue (with) its road improvement and maintenance works from 10 PM of January 31 (Friday) to 4AM of February 3, 2014 (Monday).
Per latest authority from the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), DPWH may continue with its repair activities on the following road sections along Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA):
EDSA, Quezon City (southbound), from Santolan Flyover to Annapolis, 2nd lane C.P. Garcia, Quezon City, between E. Jacinto Street & Magiting Street going University Ave., from sidewalk, 1st lane EDSA, Mandaluyong City (northbound), from Reliance Street to Shaw Boulevard EDSA, Mandaluyong City (southbound), from Boni Avenue to Mayon Street, EDSA, Caloocan City (northbound), between Arellano Street & Don Ang Street, 1st lane
Repair and maintenance of these national roads in Metro Manila has been coordinated by the DPWH-NCR with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.
