The Department of Public Works and Highways Regional Office 02 headed by Director Melvin B. Navaro led the 1st Regional Staff Conference last January 16, 2014 held at the DPWH R02 onference hall.
The meeting was attended by Division Chiefs and District Engineers together with their accounting staff.

Latest policy direction from the Honorable Secretary Rogelio L. Singson was discussed by Regional Director Melvin B. Navaro. He urged the conferees to fast truck the implementation of infrastructure projects and emphasized the need to improve the accomplishment rating of their respective offices to uplift the region’s standing.
Also in the agenda were the issues and concerns of the regional staff which was discussed by the respective Division Chiefs. Among the topics discussed were the new Public Financial Management Reform and the Unified Account Code Structure (UACS) .
