The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is constructing a centralized medical warehouse that would benefit the provincial hospitals of Balo-i, Kauswagan, Kolambugan, Baroy, Kapatagan, and Sultan Naga Dimaporo all in the province of Lanao del Norte.
Citing a report from DPWH Region 10 Director Zenaida Tan, DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the P19.2-million medical storage facility is ongoing to help secure the hospitals’ medicines, intravenous solutions, first aid products, protective equipment, personal care products, respiratory supplies and orthopedic supplies.
“A centralized medical warehouse will ensure effective management of hospital supplies for these public hospitals,” said Secretary Villar.
The construction of centralized medical facility is funded under the 2019 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
